Bride's family and friends sit on the left of the church and the Groom's family and friends sit on the right.

• Introduction by official
• Hymn
• The marriage ceremony
• Prayers/reading/blessing (optional)
• Hymn
• Reading/Blessing (optional)
• Hymn
• Signing of the register
• Exit to music - Bride & Groom, Chief Bridesmaid & Best Man, Bride's mother & Groom's father, Groom's Mother and Bride's Father and any other attendants

Civil Ceremony

No religious music or readings are permitted with this type of ceremony

• Entrance of bride to music (music optional)
• Introduction by official
• The marriage ceremony
• Reading (optional)
• Signing of register (music optional)
• Exit to music (music optional)

Reception

• Receiving line (optional) - Bride's Mother, Bride's Father, Groom's Mother, Groom's Father, Bride & Groom (can also add Best Man & Chief Bridesmaid to the end of the line next to Bride's Mother)
• Wedding breakfast
• Speeches and giving of gifts to attendants - Bride's father, Groom & then Best Man
• Cutting of the cake
• Throwing of the Bride's bouquet
• First Dance
